Membership

Before submitting your proposal to the 2022 conference, please join or renew your membership in C19. As a member, you will:

  • Receive the interdisciplinary journal, J19 (both hard copy and online)

  • Be eligible to participate in the Society’s biennial conference (conference registration will be separate)

  • Vote in C19 leadership elections and matters of concern to the organization

  • Receive information about upcoming conferences and other Society events

  • Help to strengthen and shape C19 as a vibrant, interdisciplinary, diverse organization representing many approaches to nineteenth-century scholarship

Beginning with 2016/17 C19 moved to a two-year membership cycle to correspond to our conference cycle. The new two-year rates represent a savings for all members over the old membership model.

The 2022-2023 membership rates for C19 are:

Membership 2022/23  Expires Dec. 31, 2023

Full-time tenured faculty: $170

Full-time pre-tenure faculty: $120

Students, part-time and non-tenure track faculty, postdoctoral fellows, independent scholars, emeriti, librarians and other professionals: $60

($19 will be added for shipping to non-US addresses)

Non-US Membership (Online Only)

Full-time tenured: $65

Full-time pre-tenure $55

Students, p/t and non-tenure track faculty, postdoctoral fellows, independent scholars, emeriti, librarians and other professionals:  $25
